The challenge

Run4It operate a successful, specialist, running retail business headquartered in Aberdeen, Scotland. The business consists of 7 high street retail outlets and their eCommerce sales channel. Their legacy eCommerce platform was constraining the business as it wasn’t flexible enough to meet the complex demands of the business or their customer’s evolving browsing habits.

The solution

We delivered a solution that utilised our 4 core service areas – strategy, design, technology & marketing.

Run4It now have a fully responsive mobile, tablet and touch friendly eCommerce solution which delivers a consistent customer experience across all devices.

The new interface design leverages a deep understanding of the Run4It brand gained through a series of workshops. Insight and support was provided on the tone of voice and production of copy for the website. Front end templates were hand-crafted to provide a seamless brand experience across physical and digital channels.

We delivered direct integration with Run4It’s ePOS system to provide real time stock control. Our innovative middleware solution also automatically delegates orders to the shop that holds all of the items that comprises a single online order. If this cannot be achieved a powerful back office dashboard allows staff to delegate individual order lines to separate shops. This is a powerful solution that answers a business challenge familiar to many retailers.
